Apologies for the bad quality picture, it was take on my iPhone! We all at least need one little black dress in our wardrobe. I'm obsessed with this one purchased from Asos. I love the detailing of the sheer panel around the waist and sleeves. Easily fits any body type, definitely a must have!

What do you think of little black dresses?

Necklace - Topshop
When first trying this dress on, I had already decided to return it, purely because I felt like a potato sack! After giving it some time and thinking about how I could style it, I changed my opinion on it. I thought it was time (considering its the new year), to be more open to trying new clothes. I'm not really into the whole maxi length, but this knitted jumper dress was too cosy to resist. I wanted to keep this look casual, so I used minimal amount of accessories, only adding a necklace and a backpack.

Are you guys going to take risks with your fashion sense this year?

It's been a while since I've done a post other then an outfit of the day, so I thought I would change it up. Today's post is about a repurchase of the Urban Decay make-up setting spray. Since being a university student, I'm always out partying. I've always had an issue when it came to keeping my make-up on, especially on nights out. There has been so much hype to this product, and I can finally understand why! Before investing in a bigger bottle, I picked up a travel size one. There are two sprays for different results. One for oil-control and a long-lasting affect (which I picked up). I've got to say, it was definitely worth the money. My make-up stays on into the early hours, and still looks fresh. If any of you have an issue with keeping your make-up on in the day or night, I would recommend this setting spray.

What do you guys use to set your make-up?
Do you have any alternatives?

Bomber Jacket - Topshop
Jumper - Topshop
Todays ootd has to be one of my favourites, purely based on the monochrome look. I've been looking for a sheer jumper and I've found one. This semi-sheer knitted jumper is amazing. Mainly because of the solid block panel on the chest, so there is less hassle of wearing a top or bralett underneath. The light-weight jumper goes perfectly with the paisley skirt. I love the print and the detailing of the lace on the bottom of the skirt. Adding my black ankle boots and my Mulberry shoulder bag wasn't the final touch. I was undeceive on whether to add gold or sliver jewellery. But, I went for a silver hand piece to finish off the look.

I know what you guys are thinking. Mandy?? Where have you been for the past 2 weeks... Trying to balancing both university and blogging is hard work (bad excuse I know), but I'm working on it! Maybe that should be my new years resolution, what do you guys think?

Now, I always think that investing in good quality coat is worth the money. I've recently purchased this wool coat, and I'm obsessed with it. The oversized look goes great with everything. The texture and colour gives it a unique look to it, which I always look out for when buying clothes, shoes and accessories. I would definitely size down for this, but if your like me and love the baggy and oversized look, then go for your normal size.
